MadTennis ("we", "us") provides a tennis scoring, tournament and coaching app. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices. By using MadTennis you agree to this policy.

Information we collect

Account & profile: your mobile number (used to sign in and verify your account), display name, username, and an optional profile photo you choose.
Contacts (optional): if you grant permission, we read your device contacts only to let you quickly add friends as players to matches or tournaments. Contacts are used on-device to help you search; we do not upload your full address book or use it for advertising.
Tennis activity: matches, scores, tournaments, registrations, rankings, and — if you use the academy features — trainees, attendance, fees, schedules and skill ratings you record.
Location text: the country/state you enter for a tournament (typed by you, not read from GPS).
Device & notifications: a push-notification token so we can send match and tournament alerts, and basic technical/log data needed to operate the service.

How we use it

To create and secure your account and sign you in.
To provide scoring, tournaments, rankings, coaching/academy features and notifications.
To keep the service reliable and prevent abuse.

How information is shared

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with service providers that run the app on our behalf:

Google Firebase — authentication and push notifications.
MSG91 — sending your one-time login codes by SMS.
Amazon Web Services (AWS) — hosting our servers, database and uploaded images.

Information you choose to make visible in the app (e.g. your name in a public tournament draw or leaderboard) is visible to other users of that event.

Data retention

We keep your account and activity data while your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and associated personal data by contacting us (see below); we will delete or anonymise it within a reasonable period, except where we must retain limited records to comply with law.

Children

MadTennis is not directed to children under 13. A coach or guardian may register a junior player; in that case the guardian is responsible for the consent and the information provided.

Your choices

You can deny or revoke the Contacts, Camera and Photos permissions at any time in your device settings — the app still works without them.
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data by contacting us.

Terms of Service (summary)

MadTennis is provided "as is" for organising and scoring tennis. You are responsible for the accuracy of information you enter and for the conduct of events you organise. You agree not to misuse the service, attempt to disrupt it, or use it unlawfully. We may update or suspend features, and may update these terms; continued use means you accept the changes. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or incidental damages arising from use of the app.
